The early bird catches the worm

Another early day for me! What a good idea to set my youth reputation like this!

Have you ever heard " The early bird catches the worm "? I definitely agree for this sentence and I would like everyone considered of benefits. I used to be one of among people who always went bed late after midnight doing too many things until late so next day I was not able to wake up that early. Moreover, I had to be in a hurry because it was so late and terrible traffic awaiting for me already. I used to think why I lost too many time like already half day to work or do my things. What if I can take my time back? How to divide my 24 hours worthily? Someone delicate their time for work almost 24 hours. Someone waste the time for party or too entertainment until they don't get any ideas what they spend their time for each day. Hahaha I think I used to be the one of both circumstances. Now I am a kind of moderate and back to think of more about myself and my life.

Now I set up my ordinary days like this...
Waking up at 6.00h
Jogging about 6.30h
Breakfast about 8.00h
Working at 9.00h
Having productive day until 17.00h or 18.00h (I know sometime I still have to work late but I will do my best to keep balancing!)
Having splendid evening for youth with music, books, social life, etc.
Going bed not over than 0.00h
Beauty sleeping...until another wonderful day awaiting for me!

Being as an early bird for me, I have more time and more opportunity to do many things each day. So I don't have to complain my life like I used to do such as..." I have too many work, how I can take my time for doing exercise or reading my favorite books ". To be as an early bird, we can catch more worms which mean of opportunity as our expectation. It depends what you focus in life. Some may think of success, some may think of health or some may think of both to balance two of them. Again...I would say...youth is more powerful inside your mind and it's more effective than any ideals of treatment and cosmetic. Even if you are pretty and clever to have both of youth at mind and youth at age.....I would say that's totally PERFECT! xoxo!

Calm body with exercise, and clam mind & soul with meditation

Finally! I have a youth reputation for myself turning to 2012! I've just started jogging since yesterday and it was very tired! Lol...I know I seldom do exercise constantly, otherwise I realize I've worked everyday late night until I don't have time for myself as I used to have. I do think this is something wrong though it's normal lives for the others nowadays. They do care getting well paid as money can buy convenience in lives. Therefore, people spend their time working until they don't have their own time to look after their families, themselves and even lack of social life. You may think if you have money to fix many problems including youth and health problem, but why don't we think of preventing more than curing or fixing? Therefore I love a core of preventing for every issues in life...spending life reasonable as a moderate way. This early morning I jogged 3 rounds at the park not far from my house. I found it's very peaceful for my body to release for all tension along the hectic week I had. My energy of youth is back;)


Unbelievable it's just a small park where it's next to the street and houses around, but it can be a little quiet place for people around here to do exercise and some people set up for meditation community. That's very admirable picture in my morning. Perhaps I will join that community in the future. Now I only jog about a few rounds in the park for calm body, after that I do meditation on my own for calm my mind and soul with my little music on ( actually the music are always on since I start jogging ). I only think my day is brighten afterward and ready for plenty of things going on along the day. Life need balancing of body and mind....keeping going youth is staying life stability of your body with happy heart and soul...have a wonderful day in the wonderful world to all!

Art is the meaning of life

Have you ever matter what is the meaning of life for YOU? This thought popped up in my mind while I was on my way home enjoyed my music. I didn't know because of view along the way or this song..."Je ne veux pas travailler".
Imagining, along the way home was old buildings like " boxes " with terrible traffic at 6 o'clock in the evening. The song started and led my thoughts of France. The song brought me back my old memory in Paris with enjoying view of BKK! I always wonder some details happened in my life...why why why...even it is just a little thing or it can be ridiculous for the others.

I think the matter of thoughts made people different and enjoy the world in different ways too. Earlier I thought of my blog "going youth" as a sharing of how to make us LOOK youth but now I feel people know how to look after themselves for physical very well. Otherwise people forget to care their minds. They focus on their majoring of lives such as careers, monetary, kids, etc. until some little details are missing in their lives.

I created my own art of youth through my pictures....I call them " Color mood ". It's just my photos which I made colorful each frames. I found them different in colors and also with moods. Haha I am not sure if the others can follow my thoughts today. 



For me, art is around and they effect my emotional. Art for me is atmosphere, people, many different and little things like garbage until virus (if I could see it!). So what about the meaning life of you? Have you ever considered something little as an art of your life? Or you just live your life as a robot...waking up in the morning and going to work. Have you ever seen people next to you? The same view you see everyday, someday it inspires you something? Think about that...enjoy youth through your heart and soul, not only through huge money buying cosmetic and supplementary..." WE ONLY GET ONE LIFE " :)

Glamorous youth by pumpkin

Howdy all youth in every ages and even youth at heart:)
I heard a research today asking which date is the most stressful date for office people, I thought it was Monday because it's the 1st day of work and most of people might not be ready for that! Surprisingly, that's definitely wrong! It is Tuesday! On Monday, people still have weekend issues to talk with their colleagues after meet on the 1st day of week, but on Tuesday no more topics to share for relaxing and most of meeting set up on that day! Haha Is that true?

At least for me, it's totally true! I had a hectic day! Normally my mind stays calm so my body stays calm too. But today I realized that only good thoughts were not enough for me! I needed pampering! It was pretty late when I was back home so I just mixed ingredients for what I had at home.

Here there are..
3 table spoons of pumpkin
1/2 tea spoons of honey
1/4 tea spoons of milk
                                                                         1/4 tea spoons of jojoba oil
Then I mixed all ingredients together. Put it on my clean and dry face. I left it on my face about 30 mins after that I cleaned up my face with lukewarm water. Wou! Brand new me again! You should know pumpkin is another mask rich in Vitamin A, C and Zinc so it's the face mask being good for any types of skin. Let's try it...just another easy way of going youth daily:)

Going youth with vision board

According of my post yesterday, I have a question further how to be rich, happy and hot... Have you ever thought how to make they happen concretely? Surprisingly enough, some pictures popped up in my mind and they were something I am willing to share today:)

Have you guys every heard of " The Secret "? It is a book and also a movie which it's very powerful to change our lives seriously! Why? How much do you believe a power of your thoughts? Have you ever thought of something strongly and it comes true? I am also the one who has experienced this and will always use this magic to invent my own life.

Here is one of good vision board ideas that I think I should have done...haha
I have also a vision board at home but I intend to re-update it completely soon. The tip to make vision board as a magic in your hand is CLEAR and DETAIL. The rest is about your belief, as much as you send your signal of belief strongly, as soon as you will have all your wishes; youth, happiness, traveling, relationship, monetary, career, etc.

For women who would like to be in good looking...calm body, please listen this way! Not difficult anymore how keep going youth with perfect shape, you can also make vision board with the body and the look you want to. Believe that you are a lucky woman who can eat anything and you are still in good shape. I am the one who has this thought and I never get fat seriously even though I have a lot. Contrary, my friends who eat less but always think they look fat. Though they don't eat much but they put on weight anyway. Because all your stressful thoughts stimulate hormones to work incompletely and those can affect to your organs and system itself. Woa! It becomes serious, huh? So Let's try this, the cost is cheap and it's another way to practice your mind to focus on what you really want in your lives and you ALL can make them by yourselves!

Rich Happy & Hot Youth

Today I would like to share a new website which I found coincidentally through YouTube. Here it is http://marieforleo.com/. The owner of the website is Marie Forleo which she becomes my idol right away after watched her videos. She helps more than thousands of women entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses, transforms their lives and live Rich, Happy & Hot. I think she is the one of best examples of gorgeous ladies who live Rich, Happy and Hot with going youth converting of her age. She looks as a young lady but she is full of professhhhh...with extraordinary soul!

Nowadays I've found that women have very strong affection with family, society and the world. A few days ago, I got a chance to chat with my customer. We do business but we have never met in person. She is another one that I do respect of her spirit. She is a gorgeous woman as 46 years old with 4 kids, works 18  hours a day for 3 companies of her. I did ask her how she could handle all that both of excellent in her careers and as a mother role. She gave me very short answer but it explained my doubt clearly. She does everything with her passion...that's why life is so good to her!

Thank you that I have found and met too many people in my life and they have taught me how to be happy with going youth as their ages...hopefully I will get rich and hot in the future..haha but now it's a perfect happily youth!

Travel sense

I feel I am lacking of inspiration these days. When I watch TV, there is only news of flooding, is threatening people in Bangkok and some nearly provinces. Until I read a magazine and I found my passion back and still looking for my inspiration through my plans out of Bangkok. That calls my life back again when I think of journey. You know sometimes our passion make us even going youth because you will dream and do that with truly happiness through your purely heart. And traveling is my passion, the one of my youth...

Here is the city " Land of colorful ", it's amazing! Valparaiso in Chile...a mall town but it's very dazzling and interesting. I wish I could be there once.


The only way to take it all in is to experience it through all of your senses. This makes me think of a speech by Henry Millor " One destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things ". I've learn a lot through of my journeys, seeing things, culture and knowing new people are other good ways to open our minds and see the world as it is...

Each places you go, it will stimulate your emotions, most of the time is a good way of exciting to see and learn new things. When your hormones work as a good way like that, it will stimulate youth to you...keep going youth by this way....a kind of good idea!

Joyeux anniversaire!

Today is my birthday anniversary so I'm finally 30 years old! Have you ever heard that ladies don't like to talk about age? But what if they are old but their looks are not that old as their ages? That's what we are going to talk today. Most of ladies nowadays, they look gorgeous and going youth more and more. We look after ourselves in different ways from external factors and internal factors. I must accept that there are too many high technology for any products and cosmetics to treat our skins even deeply through DNA layers! If you have got money, let's go for it!

Nevertheless, the matter of all youth and happiness don't concern about money. We will talk about internal factors to keep going youth for all of us. As I wrote before, you are what you eat, that's the 1st factor for nutrients of your health. The 2nd factor is about emotion or " EQ " (Emotional Intelligence). You can boost your own " EQ " by learning how to rapidly reduce stress, connect to your emotions, communicate non-verbally, use humor and play to deal with challenges and defuse conflicts with confidence and self-assurance. We know well that stress is the hugest enemy of going youth! So slogan will be reducing stress and increasing happiness! Whenever time flies, we still keep going youth! Cheers!

Have you followed news these days and heard about flooding in Thailand? One third of Thai provinces are so much suffering from the flood and the worse is people must follow news all the time when water will flood in their houses! They live with fear and rain still keep falling down cats and dogs.

But in a crisis circumstance here, I see an opportunity on the brighten side....youth in the city which it's from people in this country help each other sincerely. I could see smiles how seriously intention to help the others all their abilities. The more you give is the more you get...it's always the truth, it's not something catchable but it's something you can feel right away through your heart how you are happy. And that truly happiness will send you signal to all your mind and body and that's the real youth that all human being should be...

I would like to see people love and help as a unity like this forever in all over the world. That would be real power of youth in the city that can be in any hands of you!

Youth after Break Up





How many topics can undermine your youth and beauty? Are you wondering how breaking up is concerned with your miracle youth?

Did you ever cry yourself to sleep thinking that you can’t just get over your ex and let them go? If you have, then you have been influenced to believe in the idea of ‘THE ONE’. I had many broken heart experiences and I cried for months. Until I looked myself and I realized that if I didn't look after myself and I didn't love myself, that should have be a reason for men to dump me! Why should I loose my youth for them who never look back and care for me?

Before I began changing my physical, I started with changing my attitude. What did I think? I thought I would turn my crisis circumstance to be opportunity for me. I would be more beautiful, wiser, and younger! Yes...all you hear that was my inspiration in that time. I thought if I met them again by coincidence, they would be stunned! Of course...they would be regret what they did with me...hehe

After I changed my attitude, my program for youth is set up The charm course:

  • Positive; when I was a broken heart, I just thought what I did wrong. I kept thinking over and over what I would never get answers because they wouldn't be back tell me. Therefore the best I could do, was accepting that the relation was over and smiled with myself. I have no one to smile with me and love me anymore so all I can do to get through this to support myself in every good ways.
  • A Rock Star; Telling yourself how great you are! We don't have to wait anyone to tell this. Creating our dominants, that make us even more charming and you will be proud of yourself. When you look back in the past, you will never be regret.
  • Open to new experience; have you ever been afraid to hang out and meet new people? This is the best way for youth, why? As much as you talk with people in different fields and ages, you will get more inspirations and you will realize " life is more pleasure and more space of youth for you ".
  • Courageous to shake things up; Do the things I never did before to bright up my life. What did I do? It was my first trip for backpacker, I decided to see the world and it was fun! I got a few friends along the way that I've still kept in touch! 
Finally I have learned how to love myself fully and I am back to happy with my life. You know what I met one of my boyfriends coincidentally, he gave me compliment that I look younger and asked me if I could watch a movie and had dinner with him! " Hold your breath ",I thought in my mind! 

Let your past make you better, not bitter! Going youth with any circumstances! Life is in your hands!

It was for a while I didn't be back for " Going Youth ". I recognized while I have been very busy with my work, it's the worst way to stealing my youth! Have you ever thought backward while you were a child? That was marvelous experience with no responsibility, no tension, no serious relationships, etc. I spent most of the time playing and dreaming. I enjoyed every moments of life. What about today? I think I am still happy with my life but I am looking for " Going Youth and Keeping Youth " because there are many factors from inside (me)and outside (environment, human, etc) stealing my youth. I always tell people for positive support and I always do many times for self-motivation and support.

Though I have been kept finding the way " Going Youth " like eating well, I never forget that I should go back to check my mind and my feeling. Positive thinking for ourselves is the best for " Going Youth ".

Youth without Orange-Peel-Skin

Yahoo Weekend! Just a thought of weekend can lead me of "Going Youth ", because I know it's time for relaxation. Yesterday I went out at the shopping mall, I saw many chic-girls with hip-shorts and dresses! As soon as some of them turned around and I saw their behinds...their legs...with " Orange-Peel-Skin! ".



This becomes a priority problem of girls these days, it's another disaster for " Going Youth "! A huge quantity of females and males are diagnosed with fatty deposits, a dimpled skin ailment at times colloquially depicted as having the likeness of a grapefruit rind or farmer cheese. Cellulite marks, which reveal themselves after adolescence, affect the section in the area of the inner legs, butt, and tummy.

Numerous studies have demonstrated the anti-cancer properties of antioxidant polyphenols. Some studies have suggested that tea's polyphenols may reduce the risk of gastric, esophageal and skin cancers, if one consumes 4 to 6 cups daily. Another study showed that just 2 cups of tea may lower the risk of ovarian cancer by 46 percent in women. Other studies have found that polyphenols help prevent blood clotting and lower cholesterol levels. One Japanese study found that green tea lowers death rates from heart disease.

Also I can use tea leaves for dark eye circles and puffiness. You know the best feeling I love the most before drinking tea, is smelling it. How Love Can Improve Your Health

We've all heard about the studies suggesting happily married people live longer, but can love alone really have that much of an impact on your health? Today we are going to talk how love affects to our lives. 



Healthy hugging

A study conducted by doctors at the University of North Carolina, published in the July/August, 2005 issue of Psychosomatic Medicine, discovered that hugging has measurable benefits for the heart. Researchers asked 38 couples to sit close to one another, talk, and then hug. Afterwards, women showed somewhat lower levels of cortisol and lower blood pressure, while both men and women had increased levels of oxytocin, the bonding hormone.
Results from just one cuddle were minor, but frequent snuggling can have a real impact. One of the study's leaders, Kathleen Light, Ph.D, noted that in women with the highest levels of oxytocin, systolic blood pressure (peak pressure in the arteries) was 10 mm/Hg lower in women with low oxytocin levels. That, she says, is an effect similar to the one a woman would get from a typical blood pressure medication. Although men don't get the same blood pressure reduction from hugging, it's believed they get similar benefits from regular sex.




Making love
It's more than just exercise. As an article in November 1997 issue of Men's Health explained, there are numerous health benefits to love-making. Many are the same as non-physical expressions of love, but stronger. For instance, simply being in love increases your DHEA levels, but as one researcher interviewed for the article stated, "Just before orgasm and ejaculation, DHEA spikes to levels three to five times higher than usual."
But there are some benefits to love-making that non-physical affection doesn't supply. Another study concluded that, over a ten-year period, men who had sex at least twice a week were half as likely to die as men who had sex less than once a month. This applied to the young as well as the elderly. Regular intercourse also promotes prostate health by reducing the likelihood of fluid build-up in the organ. For women, love-making increases estrogen levels, which helps keep the heart healthy. Both partners benefit from emotional intimacy during sex, which eases stress and fosters an overall sense of well-being.
But promiscuity's not the answer. In an article in the July, 2001 issue of Ebony magazine, Fred Ernst, a professor of psychiatry, neurology and behavioral science at Meharry Medical College, explained that heath-promoting sex can't be separated from deep emotional connection. He was quoted as saying, "A good sex life stems from a good relationship."
It's not just the inside that benefits; making love can help keep you looking good, too. As reported by the BBC, Dr. David Weeks at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, couples with a healthy sex life can look up to seven years younger than those who aren't as intimate. He believes this is because sex reduces external signs of aging caused by stress.


A loving marriage

There are hundreds of studies out there on the effects of a happy marriage on physical health and while there are some contradictions, most indicate being in a loving, supportive marriage has significant health benefits. After examining mortality statistics, UCLA researchers found that the death rate was "significantly higher" for unmarried people than for married people living with their spouse. The effect was most dramatic in the never-married.
This may be in part because happily married people are less likely to indulge in risky behaviors out of concern for their spouse. In 2004, A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study found that married people are significantly less likely to smoke or drink heavily. A study conducted by Harvard University researchers found that married women are 20 percent less likely than single women die of stress-related causes like heart disease, suicide and cirrhosis of the liver, while married men are 100 to 200 percent times less likely to die of these causes than single men are. What's more, statistics have also shown married people are less likely to be victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crimes.

Considering what a powerful emotion love is, maybe it shouldn't be surprising that it can protect your heart, up you levels of youthful hormones, and even lower your cholesterol. Love may have its ups and downs, but overall, at least from a medical perspective, it's worth it!

Don't just eat, EAT WELL

Another working day is starting. Have you been ready yet? What do you start with your day? A cup of coffee? Does it enough to give you energy for your day with your constantly beauty? 

I would like to suggest you the 5 simple foods, you should have every single days to keep youth and keep organ system working well;

1. Leafy greens
Medical experts call them one of nature's miracle foods. Leafy greens like Swiss chard and kale are high in nutrients like folate and vitamins A and C that can lower your risk of cancer. Just one cup of dark, leafy greens a day could also prevent diabetes and high blood pressure.


2. Nuts
Many nutritionists recommend nuts like almonds, cashews and walnuts because they're high in natural fiber. Fiber slows your digestive process, keeping hunger and unhealthy mid-afternoon snacks at bay. Goodbye vending machine runs!

 

3. Onions
Studies show that consuming onions on a regular basis may reduce symptoms of asthma and the risk of developing stomach cancer. Add them to soups and stir-fry, and just remember -- the stronger the onion, the greater the health benefit.


4. Whole grains
Refined grains, like white rice and pasta, have lost 90% of their nutritional value through the refining process. As if that weren't reason enough to choose whole grains like brown rice, quinoa and whole oats, a recent study showed that a diet rich in whole grains actually flattens your belly by reducing fat storage in your lower abdominal region.


5. Yogurt
Making yogurt part of your daily eating routine can improve your digestion -- if you're buying the right stuff. Check that the label lists "active cultures" to make sure you're getting healthy probiotics, and pick a yogurt rich in vitamin D to prevent osteoporosis.

You have already had all stress along your weekday, what about your weekend? Many people are getting rest at home and I admit that sleeping tightly and enough is very useful to recover your body from all exhausting. But what about after that? Come on..don't live your life like a robot..home, work, home, work.. Let's living life!

Happy with little details


This morning I went to the temple called " Wat Arun or Temple of the Dawn ", I found the pure beauty and very simply of life. There were many thoughts popped up in my mind regarding to lives and human being when I just kept looking each details of architecture.

Architecture:

The outstanding feature of Wat Arun is its central prang (Khmer-style tower). Begun in 1809, it may have been named "Temple of the Dawn" because the first light of morning reflects off the surface of the temple with a pearly iridescence. Steep steps lead up to two terraces. The height is reported by different sources as between 66.8 m (219 ft) and 86 m (282 ft). The corners are surrounded by 4 smaller satellite prangs. The prangs are decorated by seashells and bits of porcelain which had previously been used as ballast by boats coming to Bangkok from China. The presiding Buddha image, cast in the reign of Rama II, is said to have been moulded by His Majesty himself. The ashes of King Rama II are buried in the base of the image.
The central prang is topped with a seven-pronged trident, referred to by many sources as the "Trident of Shiva".


What does it make me think of it? In this picture, I looked at statues carried this prang around the stairway, it reminded me of ordinary people especially people in town. They have got all responsibilities and duties which they must carry and handle each days...just like the statues. Differentially, the statues have got no feeling like us...if they did..they might have been said " Oh! That was very heavy...anyone would prefer to shift with me? Get rich with vitamins

I read Bazaar magazine this morning and there was a column looking for health. It also talks of " Kiwi " which you may already like the taste but here we are going to talk of marvelous benefit we get from it!


Kiwi fruits are rich in many Vitamins, flavonoids and minerals. In particular, they contain a high amount of Vitamin C (more than oranges), as much potassium as bananas and a good amount of beta-carotene.


Anti Oxidant properties of Kiwi Fruit

It is important to note that kiwi fruits contain a remarkable amount of Vitamin C, E and A. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that has been proven to protect our body from free radicals, dramatically improving the health of individuals who consumed it regularly against all kinds of disease, from cardiovascular problems to cancer and obesity.
Vitamin E has been proven to have similar effects, but is fat-soluble and thus is complimentary to Vitamin C in its functions. Kiwi fruits contain both these vitamins in high amount, which help protect our body against free radicals from all fronts.

The high content in dietary fiber helps improving diseases such as diabetes, by controlling sugar levels, and colon cancer, since fiber binds to toxic compounds in the colon and helps us expel them.

With Love for your skin



As the end of the summer season approaches, many of us sport that attractive tell-tale sign of fun in the sun:  Peeling skin.   Today I have an excellent recipe for Body Scrub to gently and thoroughly exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells. Body scrubs feel wonderful and relieve the itch of flaking skin.
  • 2/3 cup ground almonds
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon of herbs (lavender, chamomile, etc) (optional)
  • Plain yogurt, milk, or buttermilk, sufficient to make a paste
  • Essential Oils for scent (optional)
Combine the dry ingredients in a blender or food processor until they are reduced to a coarse meal. Keep this "scrub base" in a glass jar with a screw top in your refrigerator until ready to use. When you want to use the scrub base, scoop out 1/4 cup into a small bowl, and stir in enough of the liquid ingredients (vary it by what you have on hand -- yogurt and milk are best, but water works) to make a paste. Yogurt and milk are natural exfoliates known as alpha hydroxy acids, and they will slough off dead skin cells even without the scrub. Scoop up the paste with your hands or a washcloth, and rub over your body to exfoliate peeling skin.  Rinse thoroughly.

So you can feel your new skin from the first touch...softly! Enjoy your spa at home!

Get Gorgeous Figure II

You know we are not able to deny that the part of gorgeous figure is " Doing exercise ". I used to be the one who always found excuses that I needed to go gym and I needed a trainer so I could work it out. That's not true at all! I am quite sure there are many people thought like me so that's why we didn't make it better....except we could be at a day dream thinking  of gorgeous figure with sexy breast and butt like Victoria Secret's models!!!

Anyway, your gorgeous figure will come true or not, it will depend on how much you are serious to stick making resolutions about exercising to get in shape. This "How-to" can help you with some ideas to provide the little nudge you need.


Step



  1. Do something you enjoy. If you like it, it's more likely you'll keep at it. Not all workouts are at a gym: try biking, inline skating, rowing, skateboarding, swimming, hockey, or a rugby team; even dancing in your bedroom with an ipod. Enjoyment is the key to sticking with it.
  2. Make time to exercise. Make a conscious effort to replace some unnecessary and not particularly enjoyable habit, like watching a TV show that isn't very good, with an exercise-involving activity. Rather than worrying about fitting exercise into your schedule, you can just feel a sense of accomplishment content in the knowledge you haven't made your schedule any worse.
  3. Make a commitment. Don't just make a mental promise to yourself. Get a journal. Write down what you want to accomplish, and set a time frame for reaching your goals. Make a contract, and sign it. Include pictures of your dream dress, or smaller size pants, if it helps you define your goals.
  4. Don't be afraid to shoot for the stars. As Walt Disney said, If you can dream it, you can do it. If you've never worked out before, or haven't worked out in a long time, don't expect you'll be able to work out for an hour a day--six days a week! Try starting out with three, 30-minute sessions of aerobic exercise per week. Then after two weeks, incorporate two weight lifting sessions in-between your aerobic days. You can even start with just a few minutes each day. That can be enough to motivate you to keep going.
  5. Spread the word! Tell your husband, wife, sister, friends--anyone. We always do better when we think someone else is watching! Don't be obnoxious and remind everyone all the time, but let your close friends and relatives know about your goals. Ask them to encourage you once-in-a-while. Sometimes, it's nice to remind your grandma not to stock her kitchen with all those scrumptious goodies.
  6. Get out the charts. You can weigh yourself, although weight is not always an accurate view of fitness. Record your weight and BMI. Though these aren't precise measures of progress, it's sweet to look back when you're done with it all, and feel satisfied. Take measurements of your waist, hips, thighs, and neck. These are much more accurate. A "before" picture would be fun afterwards!
  7. Learn. If you are shooting to lose weight, you must learn to eat healthily. Don't "fall into" a diet. You would "fall out" eventually. Things like weight watchers can help you learn, but I simply recommend developing a lifestyle you will want to keep, and using your common sense. See tips for more help.
  8. Drink water! Drinking water is absolutely the best thing you can do for your body. Always bring water to your workout sessions.
  9. Have fun! Leaving on the same note we started, working out is not fun if you constantly think, "When am I going to get skinny?". Grab a friend and dance! Go play tag, or have races! Just keep moving!
